I have always had a love for the outdoors. Growing up I Rifle hunted Blacktails on the westside of Oregon with my family and later in life I started hunting elk on the eastside of the state. In 2007 I bought a used Bear whitetail 2, two months later and was on my third compound bow which was a Mathews flagship bow at the time. I truly loved the challenge itself of shooting archery equipment. 2019, I got into the target side of archery.

More or less, it was a great way to expand my learning of the shot process and how precise a bow and arrow can be. I shoot tournament archery all year round and can’t get enough of it! I am blessed to have a great place to hone my skills with the 60yd shooting lanes here at Central Cascades Archery. As I expand my love for archery I cannot wait to see where this lifestyle takes me. Archery is a lot of fun and the hunting side is very physically demanding. All of these aspects are why I grab the bow and shoot every day.
